A wonderfully intimate memoir on Sheldon Vanauken’s journey towards Christ and understanding of his wife’s early passing, this redesign highlights the book’s reflective and rich imagery to capture younger readers.

Close to my heart, this book redesign included developing a mood board, optimizing and converting text files, layout design and formatting in Adobe InDesign, and sketches on Adobe Illustrator. Lilacs are a notable motif throughout the entire work, as is the emphasis on a “perpetual springtime” for renewal, growth, and change.
